White or slightly yellow powder. Slightly sweet and toxic. Density 7.1, melting point 820℃, begins to lose crystallization water above about 200℃, refractive index 2.1. Insoluble in water and organic solvents, soluble in hot ammonium acetate and alkalis, as well as nitric acid and hot concentrated hydrochloric acid. Non-flammable and non-corrosive, hygroscopic, and decomposes with discoloration when exposed to sunlight in a humid state. This product has a stabilizing effect on polyvinyl chloride and has excellent heat resistance and electrical insulation properties, with good light resistance, especially suitable for high-temperature processing.
Applications
Used as a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. Suitable for opaque polyvinyl chloride rigid pipes, sheets, injection molded products, and also used in soft products made of artificial leather. Due to its excellent performance, it is widely used in polyvinyl chloride electrical insulation materials, and is particularly suitable for making wires, cables, etc. This product can also be used as a colorant for coatings, as it is light-stable and does not change color.

Storage and transportation
